CAFÉ REUNIÓN

Return to menu

Calle Fontanella 14, Barcelona.

Although it was only conceived in 2007, Café Reunión in Barcelona’s old town emits history and grace. This effective allusion of antiquity has been achieved by using a mixture of classic materials and elements, including fine wood surfaces, inlaid mirrors, leather banquettes and fin de siécle brass fittings. The illumination design emits a warm glow—as if it were lit by candlelight—and a central arrangement of columns adds geometric order to the central dining room. Together these details recall a classic tertulia (a literary or ‘social’ cafe) giving the impression that the Café Reunión has had an attractive and interesting past.
