FLAMANT CAFÉ & RESTAURANT
Calle Enric Granados 23, Barcelona.
Flamant Cafe & Restaurant pays homage to Barcelona’s rich modernista (or art nouveau) heritage and in doing so recreates as style of restaurant that has (sadly) all but disappeared in the city in its original form. Formal yet (as the name suggests) opulent, carved dark-wood walls, surfaces and doors, curly brass knobs and wall lamps, silver bar accessories, straight-back leather chairs and stiff white linen all create a sense of occasion, whilst the rear garden dotted with potted palms allude the restaurant’s Mediterranean location.
