Contemporary Southeast Asian decor predominates in La Rita, a hugely popular restaurant in Barcelona. White, black, red and gold dominate the interior design, whose focalpoint is an intricate geometric mirror inlay feature wall. Large and small-scale abstract ink compositions, most of them executed by Lázaro Rosa-Violán (as is the case in many of his projects) line the other walls, creating visual interest and balance through their linear arrangement. Red leather banquettes, simple chocolate and cream table settings and a sprinkling of plants do the rest for this timeless establishment.
