Piscolabis is a restaurant that specializes in ‘show cooking’, or tapas that is prepared to order. Taking into account the intricacy of the edifice and focus on the restaurant’s product, Rosa-Violán has created a warm, open space using natural wood furniture and floors and neutral colors. The restaurant’s bodega (wine stock) is displayed informally in bespoke wine rack elements whilst traditional forged metal structures have been employed in the staircase and illumination. Clusters of small-scale wall art add visual interest and help create a relaxed, friendly ambiance.
