Paseo de Gracia 67, Barcelona.

Rosa Violán’s new shop for Oysho – the chain of lingerie boutiques owned by Spain’s Inditex Group –subtly breaks away from other outlets by using a darker color scheme and adding some orientalist touches that complement the ‘romantic’ ethos of the brand. Located in a 19th century building on Barcelona’s most emblematic boulevard, ceilings inspired by the original style of the period were installed, and a slate grey floor, and natural wood and white surfaces create an organic warmth. The bespoke sales counter is covered with mirrors etched in Japanese motif, and high cabinets display colorful retro graphics—which can be replaced with advertising material for the brand, according to need.
